Frontier in Space & Planet of the Daleks finally coming to DVD !!!

Finally another Pertwee story comes to DVD, but this time we get a treat ... We get 2 Pertwee stories that connect.
The classic Frontier in Space & Planet of the Daleks.

I'm really looking up to this one

For those of you who don't know, Frontier in Space is Roger Delgado's last Doctor Who.

Also, Planet of the Daleks will be presented in FULL COLOUR !!!

For more info and the restoration process, click on DVD Releases on the top left menu ...... then Dalek War Box Set on the next top left menu.

SHocking they actually decided to do a new recolor rather than a cop out clean up of a Mcoy (and I am most pleased to see these 2 great stories released)

It's very interesting how episode 3 was recoloured.

This articel gives me real hope to see a Full color copy of Mind of evil or even a recolor of episodes released "colorized" on vhs like Daemons and Terror of the autons

Terror of the Autons and Daemons would be fantastic.

The restored VHS releases of these two stories are watchable and better then B&W but that about all I can say for them.
They're very washed out and sloppy at times.

I've only seen this brand new process in the link above showing clips of Planet of the Daleks -3 but it looks really promising.

Terror and Daemons are fan fav's, so I have high hopes they wont be long on the horizon.

If they do Terror and Daemons ... I wish they'd start from scratch and trash the VHS versions

based on the article info I think that's a given. they aren't happy with the old computer colorization proces, I am sure they would start from scratch (as the did with the Sea Devils when they remastered it for dvd) whenever these are released

I hope if Daemons is released they include the return to Devil's end documentary since Jon is gone now.

I just got Planet of the Daleks on VHS for 1.99$ I suppose it is somewhat of a collectors item with oart 3 in black & white. One of the actors in it was a Space 1999 regular.
