I'm a big fan of Star Trek and Boston Legal.
Both have The Shat in a leading role.
Wouldn't it be cool to have a cross-over, with Shatner as Captain Crane, the flamboyant womanizing "boldly going" leader of the pack?
He has done some many outrageous things in Boston Legal (dressing up as Dick Cheney, a woman, a giant bunny and a pink flamingo) (hey, that would make a great intro to a joke) that a cross between Denny Crane and Captain Kirk wouldn't be that much of a stretch....
"The Klingons have invaded Federation space, Captain!"
