    #10 McGann

And I have to admit McGann is at the bottom only because I've not seen anything of him besides the movie (the audio stuff, comics, stories etc.).
Never liked McCoy too much (or his companion Ace).

What about these rumors of this being the Next Doctor #11?

if you haven't heard the audio dramas you're missing out

Thanks for the post that article it confirmed the episode is based on the Colin Baker Audio drama The other Doctor. for those that haven't heard it wait unless you want to spoil the show. if you must know check out Big finish's website

I am sure there has been a doctor rating before but here are mine
10 Mccoy - and really I blame John Nathan-Turner Mccoy's acting couldn't make up for the awful scripts and cheapo sets that would have made Bill Hartnell Cringe
9 mcgann - he is quite good again the TV movies odd plot choices aren't his fault
    8 Tennet
    7 Colin
    6 Davison
    5 Eccleson
4 Hartnell - like vintage Sar trek you have to watch his stories with the eye of the 60's and withtout his brilliant acting the others would never have had a chance to be the Doctor. the fact he had dementia (maybe even alshymers) through most of seasons 2-4 exuses his frequent flubbing of lines.
    3 Troughton -
    2 Tom
    1 Pertwee
