Heh, having no personality is finally working in his favor.

I'm skeptical, but I'm still going to see it. Don't break out the torches and pitchforks, but I'm not a big Keanu fan myself. To date, I've never liked any remake. Not that they were necessarliy bad, they just weren't good enough to make me like them more than the original. I guess that's my problem. I'm always expecting the remake to go above and beyond the original. So far, none has. For me anyways. But I'll keep looking for one. Maybe "Earth" will be the one.

Yeah, that's the sticking point for me. Why would aliens care if we wiped ourselves out? And I'm pretty sure the "you're a bunch of warlike little monkeys" theme of the original isn't invalid these days....
