    The Graham Norton Show

According to the listing DirecTV has, this Saturday The Graham Norton Show will be having a Doctor Who Special. No idea what that means,I guess those of us who have BBC America will just have to watch and find out. It'll be airing after the little mini Doctor Who marathon they'll be having Saturday.

That was a bit of a letdown. Seems to have been a clip show. The interview with David Tennant seems to have been sometime around Season 3 for Doctor Who. Listing to the way he seemed so happy with the show,it makes his announcement of him stepping down even more shocking. A lot must have happened between then and now.

        I was let down too.
They didn't advertise ahead of time that this stuff was on BBC America GNS in the past -- which we all already seen already.

Not Necessarily - it has been historically common for a Doctor to choose to leave after 4 years (only Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker had over 4 years in the role). Some grow tired of the role others fear that if they stay too long they won't get offered more work (according to Nicholas Courtney that's why Jon Pertwee stepped down). Some regret leaving (according to Fraser Hines Troughton did). I guess it's a valid fear but Tom Baker had no shortage of work after 7 years.
