If the bleeding heart federation wimps could defeat the Borg then there is no question the Empire could.

Borg would win easily considering the Empire is so lousy Luke blew up the first death star and Lando blew up the second.

When you really think about it, the Empire as a whole is unbelievably stupid.
In reality, they could never exist.

On the other hand, the Borg are just plain nasty.
Borg don't say KILL YOUR FATHER AND JOIN THE DARK SIDE ... Borg will just kill you. (make you one of them).

The Empire's command structor couldn't work in real life either.
Why would these guys want to be high officers when they know Vader is going to eventually kill them if they make a screw-up ?
It's just not real.
The whole structor of the Empire reads like a childrens book.

There's no doubt the Death Star blasts one single Borg cube...perhaps two or three...but I guarantee you the fourth Borg would already be immune to the Death Star's blast...the end result will be either an assimilited Death Star or a destroyed Death Star.
