Doctor Who cartoon?

Saw it up for pre-order on Amazon last night. Anyone know the story behind it?

It was pretty good.
Mostly geared for kids though.

I have a Nelvana production still from their concept for the Doctor Who Cartoon, I should dig it up. Picture Egon from Ghostbusters witha big question mark trench coat.

Is it Infinity Quest.....It's quite good but a little disjointed as it was originally shown in 5 min segments like clone wars cartoons were..... It ran at the same time as season 3 ...they didn't make one this year...

I'm guessing the newer one since Amazon says it's coming out the same day as the Season 4 DVD.

well there have been a few....The latest as I said is called The Infinity Quest with david Tennent ..prior to that there were a few web only adventures that had some basic animation to them these included The Scream of the Shalka (which casn be found here...with Richard E Grant and Derek Jacobi)BBC- Doctor Who - Scream of the Shalka - Episode One

I found Real Time exceptional in story telling. Shada was only marginally better than the The video release with Tom telling the missing bits

i enjoyed the new cartoon. i had to buy it on region 2 so i could see it months ago. some things i can't wait for. i was buying the region 2 individual releases for the regular series eisodes for the first 2 seasons as they came out, before they were shown here on the sci-fi channel. starting with series 3 they released them after so i stopped buying them.
