So Sams run this morning revealed the new four pack of Monster Cereals for Halloween. Yes I’m aware it’s July.

Introducing Carmella Creeper the hot zombie pixie girl of caramel apple flavor

Haven’t tried it yet but it’s not a terrible idea. Apple is a common breakfast cereal flavor. Caramel is too. Caramel Apples are hugely a Halloween staple. It might work.

Thanks for the heads up! I wonder if the Monster High ghouls influenced General Mills to add a female mascot. She has stitches on her cheek like Frankie, and a skullette on her shirt! I'm actually surprised there never was a Monster High cereal with marshmallow shaped skullettes!

Yea I agree. My thinking originally was it would be kind of cool if the MH and General Mills did a whole run of the now six Monster Cereal mascots. This is their first new mascot in at least forty years and i hadn’t heard anything about it before seeing it. And it feels like it works instead of the whole Cousin Oliver syndrome.

As for flavors, it's a good choice but I've been a Booberry fan since I was little.

Karloff isn’t the archetype, Frankenstein’s Monster is. A zombie (without the moronic accesories) or witch would be an excellent choice.

I’m just glad to see new directions for the Monsters of the Morning. I could totally see Monster High doing a whole series of the Creatures of the Corn Syrup. These Gruesomes of the Grain. Maybe even one year do Female versions of all of them. Except for Carmine Creeper the Boy Zombie.

So, I'll ask this: Did they ever go back to the original recipes? Tried some several years ago and it just wasn't right. Did they switch grains as well?

I feel so bad for kids these days. The 70's cereal scene was magical!

Again, it's not aimed at you or me. It's definitely aimed at younger people who played with Monster High and watched Ruby Gloom. It's a bit "Poochie" but who cares? It's cereal.

I think they're using corn syrup these days, it's still good but doesn't taste the same. I still get a box or two around Halloween but it's not what it used to be.

They've always used corn syrup because that's what the little marshmallows are made from. It tastes different because they switched from oat flour to corn as the main ingredient.
