Asylum's Ape vs Monster
Well boyfriend & I just finished watching Asylum's Ape vs. Monster:

An ape crash-lands on Earth, which creates a sludge that makes him and a passing scorpion grow to giant-size, resulting in a fight for dominance.
Now after watching Godzilla vs Kong this is truly a let down. The kaiju monsters do not meet till the end of the movie and there fight scenes are not impressive. This movie even cut back on cast members by focusing in a handful of actors with close up shots (probably due to Covid). What I find amusing was the stole the story of the "giant ape" from Superman's Titano origin.
If you cannot watch this movie for free than you spent too much money on it.
