The pretty much showed all of Stephen King's TV mini-series yesterday. Except for It, I think. They aired The Shining, The Langoliers The Stand, and both versions of 'Salem's Lot. Back to back! Original SL is still the best. Langoliers is probably the worst.

SyFy is showing horror every day as well. They had a Phantasm marathon last night. They played the newly remastered original, then 3 and 4. Part 2 is available on demand right now through Cinemax. I'm watching 'em all!

I'd like to rewatch them all and then check out the new one. I don't expect great things from it, but I'm curious enough to give it a try. It's Phantasm, what the hell!

Up till today I'd only seen one and two. And hadn't seen two until last year. I watched the original on video I don't know how many times as a teen. Loved it, and still do. The sequels are silly fun, with some decent creepiness and a lot of odd-ball charm. I've heard the new one is sort of all over the map, but they kinda all are.
