Thanks, wish it still existed.
Here is the sad story: This was done early in my discovery of sculpting. It's a combination of a flat wood 3D blackwidow spider kit and Crayola Air-Dry Model Magic. I knew nothing about building armatures and this piece suffered greatly because of it. Once completed it was about 2+feet long. I painted it. (Sadly there are no pictures of it painted up, due to me living in a personal low tech 90s.)
Bad armature, large size, fragile material and light weight all combined to contribute to its demise. As my friends and I would get too close and those hands really grabbed on to fabric. It hit the floor way too many time. In the end I scapped it.
My next sculpture was an armature (and still is just that). Disappointment over this project, I decided never again would I make this mistake. I studied armature building, and chose a design I thought would be impossible to do. It was a dragon picture I had drawn that was so thin and elabrate it would take a miracle to complete it. It hangs in my garage as a complete armature. Now my sculptures, all have solid armatures. Aim high, bite off more than you can chew, and learn from your mistakes.
