Anybody else see Jeepers Creepers ?

Watched it on IFC last night.

Started out ok then got worse as time went on.

    Nasty ending too.

Plus the director has a checkered past unfortunately.

Funny, I caught it last night, too, but my wife and I had some shows to watch. Went back to it today while I was working. I've seen it before, but it'd been awhile. It's nothing great, but I like Justin Long. Part II is pretty lame.

Good description. It definitely gets kind of lame as it goes, after a promising start. And, yes, the director is a scumbag.

I actually enjoyed the film a lot. it certainly is better than many horror films out there. However, yes, the director is a piece of garbage. In addition, yes, part 2 was awful. However, with all that being said, I will still see part 3.......same director as well. If I based watching a film on the personal lives and/or prior convictions of the cast, then I would not be watching 90% of films made.

I thought the first third was great but it started falling apart after that. I really hate when that happens, I get all excited thinking "This is gonna be a great film" then end up so disappointed.

One of the most inspired startings to a Horror movie in decades. Not a fan of the rest though....

At least once a year on a car trip I turn to the wife and say "Hey look a guy shoving bodies in a well"

I originally watched it in the theatre, and agree with everyone else' thoughts. The reveal of the monster himself was a let-down. Looks like I am the minority that liked the second one. I liked that the creature skin looked alive and I liked the wings.
Watching Justin Long in "Drag Me to Hell" right now! His performance could not save "Tusk"!

Tusk was a MAJOR disappointment. Another great beginning that just completely unraveled.

I know! I laughed so hard when my sister sent me the original ad on which the movie is based. But whoa, it made a real downturn as the movie progressed. Depp was brutal.
