            Even though it's abundantly obvious from childhood these were stuntmen in rubber suits, I still continue to have that "man-behind-the-curtain" reaction when I see those production photos, even today. I guess your inner child suspends SO MUCH to watch these movies, it kind of wrecks it when you see a guy pop out from inside, reducing Godzilla to a pile of molded rubber.

              For me personally, as a child I always thought the good big puppy-dog eyes Godzilla was more scary than the original 1950's- 1962 version.

              To this day still can't figure out why
