Wife and I just got back from a viewing... Popcorn, Jr Mints and a Sprite... I enjoyed it. I won't spoil it by discussing details. I had seen some less than favorable reviews, but those seemed to lean toward favoring the new crop of horror movies these days and dismissed Crimson Peak for being a little old fashioned. Personally, I found it to be a great update of an old fashioned horror sensibility... Got a Hammer vibe in many places...

I don't like what is passing for horror movies these days so this was a breath of fresh air to us.

From what I've seen of it on just the commercials, it seem GTD decided to go for a little old school scare which is fine with me. Looking forward to seeing it (hopefully) some time before Halloween.
