I actually thought the redhead girl was Felicia Day from Supernatural

We're in the buildup to the medieval/Mad Max period of Dead. The group splinters and each takes over their own fifedom.

I really have a hard time seeing the show surviving after post-Negan. To me, it's just so different that it requires a huge time jump.

Big fan of Alicia. She is way gorgeous. I was really hoping they would talk her into joining the group. Not very pleased she was killed off immediately.

They film in Georgia but on the show Alexandria is in Virginia, not far from D.C.

I like rival gangs...I was getting bored of just Walkers.

But Mikey makes a good point, get outta Georgia already...America is a huge country...if the old West settlers could do it, so can these people. I'd head north, where you'll find more extreme cold weather...let them Walkers freeze for a while...people can then relax until Spring arrives, come on people, use your brains for once, lol...

I think they need a whole season of everybody being on the road ... Perhaps a small convoy on their way to California - or wherever.

Filming in Georgia is starting to show it's weakness --- aint much you can do in the woods after a while.

Well, the second part of this season is turning out to be pretty bad.
They seem to make a lot of effort to get us to dislike favorite characters and completely disregard their previously established personality.
Abraham's a d**k. Carol miraculously becomes an "every life is precious" kinda person. Maggie goes Terminator. Next thing, Daryl will be opening a hair salon.

Are these still the same writers, or has the cleaning staff taken over the scriptwriting?
Add to that yet another ruthless rival gang (it hasn't really stopped since The Governor), and I honestly started looking at my watch during this last episode.

    What I would like:
    1. Less rival gang conflicts. Been there, done that.
    2. More walkers. Which is what this story is about.
    3. Some sort of progress in the storyline. Either a cure, or an explanation to what happened. Or, if need be, kill the entire cast and end it. But not endless repeats.

One big thing about Maggie I like ... In many outdoor scenes she wears little makeup

You can see a lot of her face skin imperfections --- call me nuts but that REALLY turns me on

I still much prefer Maggie and Rosita over that redhead...

When the zombie comes to eat her i'd tell him to get in line.

Did I just say that ?

Don't the writers know the old adage, if he audience don't sympathize with the heroes they will stop watching.
Tell that to Walter White, Don Draper, Tony Soprano... a lot of great television recently has involved heroes you don't necessarily sympathize with, so long as they have interesting stories and good performances. And it can be good to watch characters who make mistakes. My only problem with "Walking Dead" is that they are making stupid and somewhat out-of-character decisions simply to advance the plot.

Carol's performance, with all the layers of what is a trick and what is the truth, was really well done. I loved watching the interplay between her and her captors. I thought it was more "Reservoir Dogs" than "video game".
