Yeah, no ****. Still don't understand why they don't all wear some type of body armour, at least when they are out in the wild.
I got no love for the finale. By the time Negan showed up I couldn't have cared less. His 5 minute speech was some of the most boring TV I've suffered through recently. I like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but there was no charisma coming from him, nor was he very imposing. Actually, his monologue was cliche-ridden, and I was tuned out by the time they got to the cliff-hanger. Couldn't even bother with Talking Dead. I think I'm done withe the show. It's the same basic plot every season, and I don't like getting my chain yanked every six months.Comment

I love the show and many episodes had me on the edge of my seat. However, the finale didn't capture my attention as much. I suppose it was how the same thing happened all season: the gang got captured, tied up and on their knees seemingly about to be killed.
As far as one of the cast dying, I am not so emotionally distressed like I was in the past about people like Tyreese, Beth, Dale, Bob and my favorite T-Dogg. The way the writers explained it on the Talking Dead whomever dies will make the story progress so that person's death will have substantial meaning. With other characters I felt things like, "I wish (Dale) was still on the show. I wonder how he would have dealt with (Terminus)." Next season it will be like, "The gang has to carry on in the spirit of (___)."Comment

Glenn's the only one that makes sense from a narrative position. That would motivate everyone into a war party, where anyone would be just another sad victim of Association With Rick.
I read an interesting take that Negan is just a swipe of Swearenegen from Deadwood. After the unveiling, I have to agree with that.Comment

I've just about had it with TWD.
It's like: "Here are your beloved characters. And now we will have them brutally beaten/shot/stabbed to a pulp, one by none. Enjoy!"
To me, it's no longer an adventure, it's almost torture porn, And I no longer enjoy watching it. It's become grim and hopeless. And sure, those situations happens, I know, but it's not something I intend to watch anymore.
This season is just another version of "Rick and his group meet another group. Surprise, they're also homicidal psychos, just like the ones in the previous seasons!".
I liked the show because of the walkers, not watching Humanity's darkest hour.
The appearance of the soldiers is a little ray of hope, but it might be too little, too late.
The finale just left me feeling depressed..

LOL! I was wondering if anyone else remembered that both JDM and Lauren Cohen were on SPN. And I guess during their reminiscing, they'll find a little romance time and produce a little Brucie Wayne!sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment

Saw them, I'm about to give up on it...pretty disappointing...I hate all three teens...hope they get killed soon...
Season premiere sucked...last night was a little better...about the kids...but still...the small boat adventures makes the show feel small at the moment...
I guess I'll stuck around and just give it a few more chances...Last edited by Hector; Apr 18, '16, 1:39 PM.sigpicComment

Hated the first episode of the new season, and have decided to let it pass. I seriously don't care about ANY of the characters, and it looks like they are going to do the same routine as TWD: meet new group of people, that group of people is bad, they get through it, possibly losing a character, and then do it all over again. I can't handle the repetition on TWD anymore, and am not going to suffer through it on a separate series.Comment
