Anyone else see this yet? I enjoyed it much better than the first. I thought the first one was okay, but a little light on the spooky, monsterific side of things. This one rectified much of that, and it's a fun flick. Lots of in-jokes for parents, and some actual laugh-out-loud moments. As a parent who has been forced to sit through some VERY unfunny CGI-kid movies, I appreciate any such movie that actually gets a chuckle out of me. This one got several.

Good to hear, I want to see this. It's funny, I resisted seeing the first one because I really don't like Adam Sandler at all, I usually actively stay far away from his films. But I found the Blu-ray for five bucks, took a shot and my kids and I both really enjoyed it, so we all want to see the second one now.

I liked HT2 better than the first one, too. It was fun.

Just saw it, I agree it is better than the first. Surprised to see a mature subject like mixed race families handled so well. They seemed to tone down the fart jokes and have fun with the spooky stuff. It's a sweet movie and deserves to be a hit.

On the flip side, we were treated to a trailer for a mess of corporate created kid's movie called "Norm of the North". It kind of made me angry as it ticked all the terrible tropes of bad kid's movies one by one. It's star? Ex-Sandler club member Rob Schneider.

^Good points. I haven't heard of "Norm of the North"... and it sounds like I should be glad. How did Schneider get ex-comunicated from the Happy Madison group?
