been watching this on Netflix, and gotta say I like it better than Walking Dead, I think the Asylum finally found its niche. the low budget works a lot better in this format for them. Loved the Zombie Tornado, too.

Cant like it better than Walking Dead but definately missing it big time,cant wait for its return.

It's no Walking Dead, that's for sure. It's like the trailer park version of Walking Dead but it has a charm all its own despite the cheesy effects, acting and plots. I'm hooked on it. Actually surprised it got picked up for a second season. If they were smart they'd position it to air between seasons of Walking Dead for those of us needing our zombie fix.

Not a bad premiss so far.
I'll hang in there for a bit I was surprised to see Tom Everett Scott in the show.

And just as surprised to see him taken out. One thing you can say about this show is they do kill people off.
I thought the star of the show was going to be the black guy from LOST until Zombie Baby took him out. LMAO

I can see that! I think they filmed episodes in a week for Z Nation. Something like that breakneck speed. Mikey, did you get a chance to catch The Strain? I liked that quite a bit.

Watching the marathon I was kinda upset when the That Thing You Do guy died but Roberta's boobies kept me watching.

Weird thing, at the start Murphy sooo reminded me of Robert Downey Jr. .... Now he reminds me of House MD

I always said that I am fairly easy to please. But I too was a tad worried with the Asylum. Their Thor movie was beyond horrible and filmed entirely in someone's back yard.

But the acting is pretty decent. Writing is good. Special effects are okay. Sure it's not The Newsroom but it hits all my B Movie buttons.

So this is one of my PVR/DVR late night watches while bagging and boarding comics. Looking forward to Season Two.

I ended up liking this show a lot better than I thought I would (Asylum doesn't exactly have a sterling track record) and the finale was a whopper! It's been picked up for a second season and I'm looking forward to it (it will be a long wait though!).

I must say, it blows Walking Dead out of the water.

Compared to Z, WD is like watching a pot boil

LoL....I actually enjoyed this series a lot.
Hope it returns for a season 2.
There is way more zombie goodness in Ż,WD has better production value and higher calibre actors but for just fun I'm taking Ż.
