I watched this on video back in my late teens or eraly 20's. I understand Ebert's opinion on destroying it. It's a pretty repulsive movie. I watched it right around the same time as Last House On the Left, also pretty repellent, but made with a little more craft.

I spit on your grave and LHOTL are both very tough and disturbing movies to watch and while they are not great cinema, they are good grindhouse flicks. I Spit On Your Grave is the ultimate revenge flick! ANother tough one to watch is LIPSTICK..
