Can anyone ID this movie I am thinking of?

I saw it long ago on TV and always thought it was a Sinbad movie. But in retrospect the scene I am thinking of would be a little gruesome for the Harrihausin Sinbads.

It had a giant imprisoning the sailors and I remember the giant grabbing one of the sailors in a cave with a fire and with his back to the camera had the sailor for dinner. When he was done, he tossed the bones into the fire (I remember the clinking sound).

Now, no gore or bones were really shown but man I never forgot it.

Now I can't find the movie.

I know similar things happen in 7'th voyage of Sinbad but nobody gets eaten.

just taking a guess, but could it have been Jack the Giant Killer from 1962?

It's a TV version of the Odyssey. I have a link somewhere, horrified me as a kid.

I watched this with my dad when I was a kid, it was dubbed in English, something I didn't notice at that young an age. For years, I've been trying to find it but always assumed it was some BBC thing. Finally found it today, the sight of the Cyclops eating the men horrified me as a kid. It still looks fantastic for a TV

Hmmm-would "Jack the Giant-Killer" Megos be fun? Pendragon looks cool.
