Even if they sucked musically, I'd go see them.

^ A few words in Chris' post necessitate that you read it slowly so as not to jumble the meaning.

Yeah do that, Sherman breaks down how it's two movies in one and all the reshoots, it's a mess.

I just had my annual watch last night, the new DVD version is fantastic.

I have that but did not get a chance to watch it yet. I have to put that on the short list.

I think tonight a few of us are getting together, a buddy of mine is pushing for "Evil Dead 2" (which is awesome, but I feel like we watch it every year) so I'm hoping we can vote on "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" just because it's been a few years for me.

Hopefully we get time for more either way.

                Have a great Halloween everybody!

Watched the original TCM last month, and it was a hoot as always.

I officially sent Halloween 2013 packing with "The Haunted Palace" on TCM last night. First time I'd seen it. Not a bad little atmospheric thriller. Poe, Lovecraft, Corman, Price and Chaney Jr. A good send off!

Not sure why but I closed out Halloween with the wizard of Oz.
Okay I know why,my seven year old daughter wanted to watch it.

Ugh - all our lofty plans to watch a few movies turned into just ONE movie. Getting old is lame. At least the movie was fun:

                            Hard Rock Zombies (1985)

I was going to post the trailer, but they quality was too terrible. Here's the whole movie -

Oh I forgot earlier my wife and I watched She-Wolf of London (1946), which I probably forgot because it was so lame that (SPOILER ALERT) there was no she-wolf. I guess otherwise charming in some ways though.

^Yeah, She-Wolf is the on film on the 4 Universal Legacy Sets I own that I haven't watched. I read somewhere that there was no real werewolf, so it's been on my backburner ever since.
