I just had my annual watch last night, the new DVD version is fantastic.
I have that but did not get a chance to watch it yet. I have to put that on the short list.

^ A few words in Chris' post necessitate that you read it slowly so as not to jumble the meaning.

New band name: Ingrid Pitt's Cleavage.
Even if they sucked musically, I'd go see them.

It is, one of their better portmanteau films IMO although it's a little goofy too.
Yeah, but I can't help but love "The Cloak" with Pertwee and Ingrid Pitt's cleavage. Cushing's part is of course good, and Lee actually gets to play the hero in his segment.

I wasn't expecting much, but the acting was so pitch perfect I just loved it.

Yeah, it's unofficially the last from the Amicus team but it's not their best. Leans too heavy on the comedy and the music dated it instantly. I still like it but it could have been better.
I've heard quite a bit about this movie this Halloween season. I had never heard of it before. Did TCM show it? If so, I missed it.

Watched that recently as well. Oh, and My Bloody Valentine, which was actually pretty decent. I've been watching horror movies for a couple months now, so I'll add a few more that were viewed pre-October.

    --The House of the Devil
--Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, which was an absolute pleasure!
--Trick 'r Treat, actually I watched this the other day and forget to mention it.

I take my traditional week off around Halloween to enjoy all the monster movies on television leading up to that night and essentially recharge my batteries. Yesterday I watched the original Friday the 13th parts I and II. It was funny seeing Kevin Bacon running around in skimpy bathing drunks. His death scene is always a blast. I love watching Bacon fry. Will probably watch Pt III today and then start my Halloween marathon leading up to tomorrow night. And yep, I watch Halloween III as well. It might be the odd bird in the series, but it has it's own dated appeal. It will just take a week to get that reworked 'London bridges' song out of my head.
