My take on Chaney Jr. as the Wolfman

My favorite Universal Monster. He's my boy's favorite too, so this one is going in his room.

Very cool, Chris. Excellent work. Wolfman's my favorite, too. I can hear his theme in my head right now.

Very cool. Has a vintage officially licensed look to it. Like the art on a paint by number kit. Beautiful.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Duh-duh-DUH!!! What a great theme. I kept humming it in my head as I was working on this, so I'm glad it did the same for you! Thank you.

Now that you say that, I can totally see it. When I finished it, I was thinking the colors reminded me a bit of an old Ben Cooper/Collegville mask, which had a similar vibe to the Paint by Number sets. Thanks!

Good work Chris! I too love the Wolfman. No other monster quite looks like him in the classic Universal style. A nice display for your son's room! It goes without saying, you're one cool dad!

Thanks Tom! I really like the Wolfman's design. Jack Pierce knew his stuff. How can you care for a big ravenous dog? A humanoid wolf is the way to go.

Well done sir. that image will forever remind me of the back pages of comic books. That image was the first one my eyes would fixate on.

                  Great job Chris!
The eyes and the furrowed brow on the Wolfman really seem to pull me in.
