    Dumb question about Jaws 2

    Just watched Jaws 2

Never noticed Brody wears his badge on the wrong side of his chest

    What's up with that ?

    True.

As the fictional island of Amity is supposed to be located in either New York (according to the original "Jaws" novel) or Massachusetts (seemingly according to the movies), it should be on the left side.

I dunno about that, but the one thing that has always bugged me about the show, is the shark's mouth.
This scene shows it either did something really weird, or the camera lens distorted its shape:

plus, it's like we can see the pneumatic pistons and stuff in his throat.

All the deputies wear their badges on their left side so it must have been a deliberate decision with Brody.

Jaws 2 is so great, yet so craptacular. I must watch it every summer. Who was the studio genius who decided to dial down the intensity and gore in the sequel?

At least John Williams brought his A Game.

He did it to confuse the shark.

couldn't have said it better myself. I usually watch it at the end of summer (along with Lifeguard). The slow pans across the water remind me of the Lewes bay and get me thinking wistfully about the next summer.

I actually like (or at least can tolerate) all the Jaws movies in the series- including the dreaded Jaws 4

Speaking of Jaws 4, did anyone ever notice Jaws's roar was the same roar used for Spot in the Munsters ?

Even though most people didn't like JAWS 2, I will always re-watch it.

My only issues is that I didn't like how the sons were portrayed, especially Michael...I expected him to be a little tougher or something.

I've had enough of badges..... the shark should have ate it. howerver ingenious to use an underwater power cable to destroy a 20 foot maneater.
