Dracula and Frankenstein Toei animated movies...

Just curious if anyone has seen these. I picked up an original VHS on Ebay a few months back of the Dracula...but when I got it there were issues with the tape. some creases/eating of the tape from the previous owner made it unwatchable. I have managed to find another original Dracula and up until about a week ago I had no idea that a Frankenstein Toei animated movie existed. Managed to find an original VHS of that one also. Hopefully I'll get them by the end of this week. Anyone seen these before? They say that the Dracula is loosely based on Marvel's Tomb Of Dracula:

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
    The beauty that surrounds them
    Isn't it a pity".

Yeah, the Dracula movie follows some of the latter plot lines in Tomb of Dracula. It's interesting but not that entertaining. I have the Frankenstein as well, but have never watched after being disappointed with the Dracula one. I need to pull it out and watch it. I bought them at a comic con; they had been transferred to DVD from the VHS tapes. Quality wasn't great.

I've seen the Dracula one ages ago. It's not bad. I knew of the Frankenstein but have yet to see it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

From what I did see of the Dracula, I think I will like the Frankenstein more. It looks a little better than what I've seen on the dracula...then again, I was always a bigger fan of Franky than I was of Drac.

          Hmmmm....

Funny thing; I just watched the FRankenstein one. It's okay.... not good, not bad. There are some interesting bits to it, but it's a sort of new story loosely based on the original. Funny thing; we found it in the kids section of the local rental joint way back in the day. It SHOULDN'T be in the kids section....

          As for Drac:

You can also watch it on Youtube. Interesting animation. The vocal performance sounds like it was done in someone's garage, but the images are nicely done.

I watched the Dracula recently, it suffers from bad anime dubbing where the actors shoehorn waaaay too much information into a sentence. It's pretty laughable, probably a different story were it subtitled.

I'd love to see subtitled versions of these, wonder if any fansubs are floating around out there.
