I just love this guys take on the monster movie. I though his Bram Stokers Dracula with Jack Palance as the count was brilliant and still my favorite version of Dracula. He also has a cool take on Mary Shelly's Frankenstien. Sure, both of these films stary from the novels, but they are fantastic none the less.

I like all the Curtis stuff I have seen, which includes a sampling of Dark Shadows, Dracula, and Kolchak. I too really liked his Dracula. I liked Palance's animalistic portrayal. It did stray from the novel, but no more so than most adaptations. It was also the first to add Vlad the Impaler and the reincarnated lover angle, which Coopola's version ripped off.
