I kept waiting for Tom Cruise and Will Smith to jump out and say "hey, this is my movie."
Also the fast moving CG hoards are suppose to be Zombies?Comment

I'll watch it but I am not nearly as excited as I was before seeing the trailer.“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

I loved the book. The monsters in the book were classic zombies. The movie may be good, it may be bad, I don't know. But what I do know is, those things in the trailer are NOT zombies.Comment

it's hard to say what they are since they do not show any closeups of the monsters, just hordes of something attacking. I think it looks great. can't wait to see itComment

as I mentioned on another site's forum:
"Honestly it looks pretty wack. If anything it would seem more like "stupid entertainment" at best. The cgi zombie pile ons still look cartoonish to me""What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

I've had my share of zombies for now.
I love The Walking Dead, and I'll stick to that.
The zombie pile-up I saw in the trailer looked a bit silly. More like a circus act than anything else. The only thing missing was the trapeze zombie and one on a unicycle....

I for one am refusing to see this.
This film has been troubled since the start.
Constant reshoots and a script rewrite plus the heavy use of CGI making the zombie hordes look laughable are not a good thing.
Plus,it is far removed from the book now.
Passing on this one.Comment

I lent the book to a friend of mine and he reminded me there was a chapter on a type of zombie known as the "runners". It looks like they decided to take 1 little detail and blow it out of proportion so it dominates the whole film. I don't see this as a faithful adaption at all. Some sheet-hot director trying to re-invent the genre, ho-hum. After seeing the trailer-I'll pass.Comment
