    Werewolf: Beast Among Us

Just finished watching the direct-to-video and Netflix stream Werewof: Beast Among Us and enjoyed it quite a bit.

I would rank it among the better werewolf films I've seen up until the climax where it takes a step that to me was unnecessary to provide a fight scene, but it's still quite fun. There is a mystery to the identity of the beast, but it's not that hard to deduce, although there are plenty of red herrings. It's fairly graphic and gory. A whole lot of chewed up corpses and dismembered body parts and bloddy organs are shown. The production values are good, but the CGI werewolf is lower budget CGI, but it's not as bad as American Werewolf in Paris and worked as well for me as stuff like Underworld.

It's not a classic, but much better than I expected. It's certainly worth checking out if you like werewolves and want to see something new during the Halloween season.
