The Cineplex chain of theatres in Canada is presenting a special double feature of the original Universal Dracula and Frankenstein films several dates this October. These are digital presentations, the purist in me would prefer actual film, but if these are the same restored transfers that are being used for the new Blu-ray discs, I probably shouldn't complain. The theatre near me in Niagara Falls is playing them, I'm stoked, I've never had the opportunity to see these films on the big screen. I was disappointed that the earlier mentioned Frankenstein/Bride of Frankenstein presentation at some US theatres wasn't playing near me, but luckily we are getting something cool up here too.
