The Walking Dead. Just how annoying is Carl?

I saw the actor that plays Carl signing autographs at a comic show. He seemed like a really nice kid and was all smiles. I wonder how he feels about all the hate that Carl gets on the internet.

The kid can't help it that the writers give him a character with only half a brain.
I think he's a competent actor, he deserves better.

I still want a zombie baby in the worst way. I just think it would be cool. Maybe have the mother die right before she was going to give birth. Somehow the child turns and eats it's way out of it's dead momma. And i"ll join the lori hater list. She drives me nuts.
