    Universal Monster T-Shirts at Wal-Mart

Our local Wal-Mart had several Halloween shirts, and three of them featured the Universal Monsters. They are officially licensed, if that's really important to you. I bought a Frankenstein shirt with that classic upshot of Boris from "Bride" and the phrase "Just Call Me Frank", and the classic Frankenstein logo. Appropriate since my last name is Franklin, and I have been called that on occasion.

They also had one of the Creature from the Black Lagoon with the phrase "Your Lagoon or Mine?" and his logo. And one of the Invisible Man (kind of an odd choice) with an odd phrase that I don't quite recall.

The were $5.50 a piece. Can't beat that. Oh, and they glow in the dark. They also had some generic Halloween/Monster shirts, including one showing a Werewolf's chest with him opening his shirt and jacket, Superman style. The jacket looked kind of like the "I Was A Teenage Werewolf" jacket.

      I'm sold.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Ditto. If I make it to a Walmart, what size do you want?

Well, living in the wondrous world of Portland, I don't cross many chain stores in my everyday life. There is a Walmart some 90 blocks away, a Toys R Us even further, but you've got to make a point of wanting to visit them. That said, I'm going to try to get out there. Hey, it's the Creature!
