It did on one of the go rounds, and I made a respectable offer, IMO. One in very similar condition sold for just over 1k a couple of years ago on eBay, in a no-reserve auction if I remeber correctly (def not the same one). The thing about this one is I think it may have the flesh colored vinyl head. You know I'm nuts on the minutiae of this stuff, with the Creature chief amongst 'em, and the abject wizardry of AHI's production alchemy piled on. So, the paint pattern (intentionally leaving the abdomen somewhat unpainted) is a distinct pattern I've seen a couple of times, I dunno if it correlates with a wider bubble (which I think this is) or the color of the vinyl used for the head. But I'm with ya in wishing I had more disposable income and that this were more reasonable.Comment

The soakie tends to go in the $60 to $125 range based on condition. They are fairly common, and ultra cool!Comment

I remember finding once of those Creature soakies at the Clarance flea market for 20 bucks. It had a crack in the head, but it was in the back, so it still displayed nice. I'd like to get a set someday.
My favourite Creature is the 12" Sideshow. I was buying all the SS 12" monsters at the time as they were being released, but was somehow caught snoozing when the Creature came out. I missed him in stores, and next thing I knew he was selling on ebay for a premium, which I refused to pay because I had bought all the rest for retail or less.
Still don't have one dammit!
