              Closely followed by Young Frankenstein.

Followed by Return of the Living Dead, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Freaked, Shaun of the Dead, A & C Meets Frankenstein, Monsters Inc, Monsters House, Gremlins, Re-Animator (yes, it's a comedy) and Evil Dead, (yes, another comedy).

I know a couple of others are escaping me right now.

Two of my all-time favorite movies:

              Re-Animator and Evil Dead!!

                Army of Darkness (awesome)

The Scary Movie movies - I like the Airplane, Naked Gun type spoofs. Some of the things that go on in those movies are so stupid that they are funny to me to watch.

i thought Joe Dante's "Matinee" was great:

and even features a direct 50s sci-fi spoof, "Mant" in the film itself. i would've loved to have seen a full "Mant" feature on DVD or something...
