Just found this and thought some of you guys would find it interesting. It's some animation Rich Corben's done of some Poe and Lovecraft stuff. I've seen some of his older film work, but these shorts are totally new to me.

It was pretty interesting Finally seeing his original Den story as an animation when corben posted it a while back. It's always been the missing piece for me as the prequel to den serialized as a comic in Heavy Metal (referred to by David as the adventures of his uncle Dan)

I was always tempted to order the Black Planet movie from the back of the Fantagor comics.

I have "Dark Planet" on DVD-- I'm a die hard Corben fan and always have been, but that movie is unwatchable. Sorry--

That's a real shame. The ads always looked so cool in those 80's Fantagor comics.


Probably a good thing I didn't order it back in the day.

There was also a Corben animated Flash series about a dozen years back when everyone was jumping on the animated webisode bandwagon. Not sure it it was ever completed.

I wish someone would let Corben do design work on any number of these new John Carter adaptations coming out of the woodwork.

Corben has been doing select issues/stories of Hellboy. The one he did last year, The Crooked Man, I can't re-read it. He did it so well it got too under my skin.
