Looks like fears of the Disneyfication of Marvel might be unfounded if they are going to be publishing edgy material like this.

Dexter novelist Jeff Linsay's books are much much darker than the TV show.

I'd imagine since they are based on the novels, they might not have the likeness rights to the TV actors. It will be interesting to see how the artists involved will interpret the book versions of Dexter and co. I'd love to see how they visually translate robo-Doakes.

Coming in February 2013, they say. And apparently NO, they are not going after the likenesses of the tv characters. I wonder if the delays were because they tried to use those & legal got involved, requiring a redrawing?
