The Wicker man Directors cut ? WoW

1973 version obviously , always loved the film and own 4 different DVDs but the definitive version for me is the directors cut with the restored footage its even more amazing , I cant bare to watch the hacked TV version or the short version any more even though it was the only one i new for years the restored version adds to it and makes more sense!!! anyone a fan of the film ? what version do you own and how do you compare the versions ?

Please dont even mention the Remake talk about dire .

It's got both Ingrid Pitt and Britt Ekland in it... What's not to love?

Toss in Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward (The Equalizer!) and you've got a party.

Any other Wicker Fans laugh themselves silly during Hot Fuzz, to the bafflement of other theatre patrons not in the know?

I've got a 3 disc set of this, you get all the versions and the cd soundtrack.

It's a shame that the full version will never be seen, then again who knows, the film reel could be in somebodys garage but that is wishfull thinking.

I could have sworn the uncut version was given out free with a Sunday paper a couple of years back. I have it somewhere.

              Such a great movie!
I have to admit, I only saw it for the first time a few years ago, it was not a movie that I grew up with, so the uncut version was the first version that I watched.
