Landed some great autographs from Frightfest

All the celebs were quite nice and very approachable. An experience I'll never forget. Carpenter, bless his heart, was very cool. But also quite frail. I don't see him making anymore films.

What surprised me about Michael Biehn was his height. I'm 6'4 and the guy stood eye to eye with me. Arnold in his prime was only 6'2, so the Kyle Reese character was actually taller!

David was a great person to meet. Very personable and very open to discuss whatever we asked. Emeraldknight and myself were also treated to a very unique moment when Henry Winkler and David Naughton hugged each other during a special reunion. Apparently they hadn't seen each other in years. Winkler turned to us and said, "Do you fellas realize I've known this guy since 1970? His parents went to school with my parents. I just love this guy!" We must of walked around with smiles on our faces for the next half hour. It was pretty cool.

Margot was such a sweet lady to meet. She was very personable and connected with us immediately. She also shared a very special moment with Emeraldknight. I'll let him explain that when he jumps on board. But a very nice lady and a great experience.

They ranged from $25 to $30 a piece. No more. These folks were people I never expected to meet, who either made or starred in some of my favorite films. I considered it a necessary evil and took the dive. In retrospect I'm glad I did. I honestly thought they were going to cost more. Especially Carpenter. Plus the experiences I got from meeting each of them was memorable, so that was worth something as well.

No autographed pic, but I did get a pic with me giving her a little squeeze. She was wearing this shirt that showed off her abs, if you can believe that. She looked damn good too. I also got a photo with Winkler as well. Actually the ones you see above, I got myself in photos with them as well.... except Carpenter. My bud, Chris (Emeraldknight) took a pic of him signing my poster. So that was cool. Carpenter is just too old to be getting up and down. Nice, nice man though. A real pleasure to meet him.

Congrats on your latest additions! Sounds like you had a great time. We try to hit Monsterpalooza here in CA every year, it always makes for a fun day. Margot attended last year, and you're right, she's terrific! Would be nice to have a visit from David Naughton out this way (reps...are ya listening?!).

That Carpenter autograph is super cool.
I'd love to have one. It such a shame that Carpenter hasn't made more films in recent years. I loved his story "Cigarette Burns" in Masters of Horror.

Agree! Best thing that he had made in a while.
