    Gamera!

Amazon.com: MST3K Vs. Gamera: Mystery Science Theater 3000, Vol. XXI [Deluxe Edition]: Joel Hodgson, Kevin Murphy: Movies TV

I'm almost close to tears that this is available. I just pray my copy arrives prior to my holidays.

Watch the interviews. Weird bit: prior to filming the episodes, apparently half the team had never heard of Gamera. Weird.

Gamera ... friend to all the kids. Great stuff

Always love to those kids with their squeeky little voices singing the Gamera song in the begining of the movies.

which half. Betting Frank Coniff knew Gamera, probably Mike Nelson, too.

I saw my first Gamera movie at 20, I don't find it that weird.

REALLY?!?!?! I think I was 3. But I came from a long line of monster movie fans. (My great aunts and uncles, as well as my grandparents all saw the original Universal films first time around.)

What's sad is that I think I may have only seen one, and I'm a huge fan of MST3K. My set shipped today, so hopefully I'll have it early next week.

I didn't see a single Gamera movie until I saw some of 'em on MST3K. I had seen Universal monster movies, Godzilla movies, and various other old monster movies. But never Gamera.

I don't find it weird at all.

Looks like a cool dvd set! But I was really hoping to hear that a new Gamera movie is in the works. Or better yet -Godzilla vs Gamera
