    Something Wicked This Way Comes

    Just watched it last night.

I haven't seen it since it was new.

It holds up pretty well today.

I never thought about it before but it seems Stand By Me kind of copied it a bit (for the style of the film)

Jonathan Price did an excellent job, but he reminds me of Kenny Loggins in it

The only thing I didn't like was the ending ... It seemed too confused and quickly thrown together.

haven't watched it in years but I remember it being pretty good. I think Something Wicked was also written by Steven King so that might be the similarity to Stand By Me

Man, this brings back memories. I was obsessed with that movie when I was young. I'm going to have to watch it again, it's been over 20 years.

I had it from the Library about a year ago, always thought it was a great movie.

Another great movie to go back and watch if you haven't seen it in a few year is "The Legend of Hell House" with Roddy McDowell. Hands down, still one of the creepiest haunted house movies made IMHO....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Excellent choice Mike this is one of my favorite Bradbury books. It sure does hold up today and always will. Its just a fun wicked movie for it time. I would watch the heck out of it summer nights on HBO when I was a kid. I actually just picked it up two years ago on evilbay......Cult Classic!
