    Teen Wolf?

Has anyone watched Tenn Wolf on MTV?

It has as much or more to do with teen angst and hijinks as it does werewolves, but I've watched worse.

It's certainly taking some ques from Twilight, but it doesn't take itself as seriously.

        Hmmmm....

We used to joke around here about what was gonna get a dark, gritty reboot.

I HATE it when I'm right.

I have seen the first 2 episodes.
So far, I don't hate it.

Not real attached to it, but willing to check out a couple more eps to see if it gets better or worse.

Taking a classic monster and giving it a "teen" spin should never be
off limits... besides, this seems more along the lines of the original,
and not dark or gritty. No?

They should follow the “Bad” trend (“Bad Santa”, “Bad Teacher”, etc…) and make a “Bad Wolf” movie. The tagline: “This wolf is so bad, he makes the other wolves look good!” The “bad” wolf will be wearing sunglasses and George Thorogood with get a royalty check. AND SCENE.

Your humor aside... the point of making those "bad" movies is because
teachers and Santas are usually "good". If they really wanted to make a
sellable movie... they'd make it along the lines of a
"Good Werewolf" route...you know, something along the lines of Casper,
                but with Werewolves.

The show certainly has its limitations. It treads over a lot of the same stuff week after week and is geared for tweens and teens, but the episode running this week had a development that I certainly wasn't expecting. And there is the alpha wolf mystery.

The show is not in the same league as Buffy, which I'm guessing is its surface model, but I'm a sucker for werewolve tales

I think the alpha male is the coach or the teacher that gave them detention hall, not the vet.
