    More TCM 50s cheesy goodness!

My drive-in movie fun! I missed THEM! and The Cosmic Monsters. But on now is Tarantula. After that, The Black Scorpion, The Giant Claw and The Wasp Woman.

Thursday in June are looking awesome!

Yeah, John Agar can just suck the life right out of a scene.

Tonite's fare was Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, Villiage of the Giants, Queen From Outer Space, Mars Needs Women, The Cyclops, Manster, and The Killer Shrews. Boy, my VCR is getting a workout!

            I watched a few last night ........

50 foot woman is always good

Giants got kind of boring after a while but I did sit through it.

Queen of Outer Space is unwatchable for me.

Yes, I agree!! I used to love watching those movies on Friday night. In my area growing up, there was a show called Hoolihan and Big Chuck, then it was Big Chuck and Little John. They always showed these kinda of movies..

I still want to see Earth vs. the Flying Saucers. I've missed it every time I've tried to catch it on TV. And the video store doesn't even carry it!!!! It's one of the few Harryhausen films I still haven't seen.

                        OK, tonite's line-up:

It Came from Beaneath The Sea
The Monster That Challenged the World
                        The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
                        The Giant Behemoth
                        Phantom from 10K Leagues
                        Creature from the Haunted Sea

And a special: "Hidden Values: Movies of the 50s".

And wouldn't you know it, I forgot to buy tapes!

I tried watching The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms

I can't figure out why they would stop motion a giant lizard

Irwin Allen would have saved money by filming a real one

Somehow I doubt an enlarged real lizard would cooperate in devouring Coney Island!

Not 50s, but I was a bit shocked to see Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond" on TCM the other night. Around 10 years ago, I was one of those "Fulci is God" people. Now I think he was for the most part, a laughable hack....lol.
