I have seen the book but never bought it. I wasn't sure if it was a good read or just someone jumping on the vampire bandwagon.

Is the movie going to be called "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Killer" or "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter"? The book is "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter" and I just started reading it. I'm about 20% of the way into the book. It's actually pretty good. It reminds me a bit of the book "Wicked" by Gregory McGuire. It also reminds me of the "Blair Witch Project" with the pretense that the story is true as evidenced by Abraham Lincoln's personal journal that was never found or so they say. I won't give any more away but it is a pretty good read so far.

I'm now about 75% through the book. It is definitely a good read. I'll be curious to see if the movie is pretty true to the book. If it is, this is going to be one controversial film. The book is fairly graphic, add into it real life historical events that took place, historical figures (Abe Lincoln being one of many) and I can see this creating some major outcry.
