The Terror and Dementia 13 on blu ray

Two budget DVD and late night movie darlings are on blu ray. Both movies are public domain and have multiple releases and for someone that likes the movies, like me, most of those releases are pretty disappointing quality.

The blu ray promises to be better, can't wait to see them

I've seen those movies. Perfect Chiller Theatre faire.

Are they going to actually be better movies? The Terror always bored me. I honestly don't see the point of getting a lot of this stuff on blu-ray.

Well, I like them both. Know they aren't great but to me Dementia 13 was pretty creepy and The Terror had moments too.

With films this old will putting them on blue ray make any diffrence to the picture and sound, i would have thought not.

Well, old films are usually on 35mm film which is higher detail than HD. Some even use bigger film then 35mm, like Vistavision, SuperPanavision 70 (70mm) and Cinerama. So the potential of HD and blu ray is just as much as it is for recent movies.
