A Spanish-directed/produced (but in English) gem starring Ryan Reynolds...



Ok...I'm not going to give it away...I'm just going to mention the main thing that goes on throughout this film...it's not for everyone...I myself thought I was quickly going to get bored with this...but I rented it...and gave it a try...I was very surprised how suspenseful this turned out to be...despite the fact...that the entire movie takes place INSIDE A COFFIN...yes...you read that right...THE ENTIRE FILM TAKES PLACE INSIDE A COFFIN...no flashbacks to other scenes...no dream sequences of any kind...THE ENTIRE FILM TAKES PLACE INSIDE A COFFIN...



It has a pretty good story...many things happen inside the coffin.

Ryan Reynolds gives out a great performance.

This film won three Goya Awards (Spanish Academy Awards)...for Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Sound. It was also nominated for Best Film, Director, Cinematography, Special-Effects, etc,...and of course...Best Actor, Ryan Reynolds (but did not win).

If you are claustrophobic...STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVIE!!!

We got it from the Library a couple weeks ago , always like his movies.He did a great job,!It does I bet show the truth on how the government handles such things.

Got it from Netflix a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to sit down and watch it. It was given a good review at HiDefDgiest and I really liked it. I love how the director made use of different things to get light inside the box and how they were worked into the story. Well worth a viewing.

Big thumbs up from me as well. I also thought I might get bored with him just being in the coffin for the entire film, but the dialogue is entertaining, and the film certainly keeps U on the edge of your seat.

I wondered that too as I watched but decided not to think myself into not enjoying the movie...which I did enjoy by the way.

Yeah...but he has other means of lighting as well...all purposely placed there for a reason.

I finally just saw this - I really liked it! Reynolds was great, I think he really made the panic of his situation genuine. I wonder if he ran laps before jumping back into the cramped set between takes to get his breathing that quick and shallow?

Also, that must have been some really high proof stuff in his flask to flame up like that.
