and speaking of "Z" movies, let's not forget "Manos: the hands of fate"

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE 70's horror movies... cheesy or not!

    don't look in the basement
    horror high (twisted brain)
    psychomania

and those made for tv movies!!

    scream pretty peggy
don't be afraid of the dark
    something evil
    the stranger within
the world beyond (aka the mud monster)

Great flick.....with a great line: "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick azz... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

Other movies I like are Re-Animator and Frankenhooker.

They Live is a great B flick. I was really surprised Piper didn't break out into at the very least a string of decent direct-to-video flicks. Weird.

Give me cheesy B goodness all day. "The Brain that wouldn't die" is one of my favorite "B"s to date.
I was doing some surfing the other week and was pleased to have stumbled upon "Elvira's Movie Macabre". So now every Saturday night at 9pm, I get my "B" fix. Last Saturday night was "Teengaers from space" (AWEFUL!)

I don't know about Teenager's from space but I have found the Brain that would'nt die on dvd before now.

Another of my favorites that spooked me as a kid is "The Monster that challenged the world"

Love both those movies better being beaten to a pulp by MST3K.

The list is very long but my current obsession is the Eddie Romero "Blood Island" series from the Phillipines. They're sort of old school monster movies with lots of late 60s fake blood.

In that same vein, I really love the work of Paul Naschy, one of the truly underrated stars of the genre. He made a fun series of films where he played Wadlemar the Werewolf.
