I'm watching Motel Hell, just a few minutes in... I havent seen it in 25 years or so, and I must say that it doesnt get the props it deserves! The atmosphere remains creeeeeepy, and there are many unsettling scenerios. Rory Calhoun as 'Farmer Vincent' is totally perfect, and his BULL of a sister is unnerving and funny - watch her facial expressions, what an evil b1tch! lol

Strange? - There is an in-house butcher shop about 20 minutes from here called "Uncle Charlie's Juicy and Sweet Eatin' Meats" - I sh1t you not! We actually buy from the old man, he has great product!
(He also keeps weird hours...and sometimes wears this strange mask and a ladies wig...and he keeps trying to get me to eat head cheese... KIDDING! )

I remember my high school friends and I went to see this in the theatre back in the day. Freaky movie for sure.

Motel Hell was one of those PRE EVil Dead films. I was Still afraid of horror movies. I remeber watching it through my fingers on HBO so long ago.
The whole burying people up to thier necks was creepy. I loved his last line too.

I ALSO wonder about the pig head.

It would be MUCH cheaper to get a guy to put a dead pigs skull on but then there are weird actors in the world. . . . esp Genre films.
