Amicus love?

One of my favorite production houses, always saw them as a 'continuation' of Hammer Studios. HUGE part of my youth, along with TOHO and the Kroffts.

I know that their fantasy stuff in the late 70s didnt have the polish or the quality of the Sinbad or Verne pictures, but they had a ton of charm and GREAT schlocky monsters!
Their anthology horror films are some of my all-time favorites, I love how they are sort of 'unofficial sequels' - Tales From the Crypt, House that Dripped Blood, Vault of Horror, Asylum, etc etc. I'd love to cherry-pick certain stories from these films and have them remade by great current writers/directors. I love them all, but Tales From the Crypt is actually one of my favorite films, period. (Cool as well how they topped it all off, almost like saying 'goodbye', with the silly homage 'Monster Club'. )
