Just picked up the DVD of it. It has been out of print for a while, but I was able to gte a nice used copy.
Wow, I forgot what a good movie is was.
I remember seeing it when it first came out at an old movie place here in Rochester. Soon after, it was torn down.
I remember the sheer size of the screen and being awed by the special effects.
Well, seeing it in my home theater brought me back to 1969 all over again!
Great Harryhausen effects and a great music score also!

Great movie. It was one of my favourites as a kid. I've had it on DVD for a long while now.
