    Just watched Machete and Zomieland

Zomieland yesterday. Finally realized at one point ALL Zombie movies ( except Land of the Dead) are basically remakes of Night of the Living Dead. Liked the grewsome jokes. The Soccer mom skid mark was harsh Woddys "revelation" was a bit too heavy but not as much a Buzz kill as Shauns Mom in Shayn of the Dead. It was missing one important element in the Zombie formula, no one died and became a zombie. Liked that it was Mad Cow disease. Ravenous. The explination made me think of the medical condition Preader Willie Syndrome(sp). Terrible, brain keeps sending body messages it is starving. Liked the video game shotgun on a Roller coaster part. Bill Murray was cool.

Machete tonight. Awsome Mexican Explotaion film. Two problems. I did not like the Vagina Telephone gag. And I didnt get to see Savini die onscreen. Two pebbles in a good bowl of chili.

        >no one died and became a zombie.

I'd heard the original plan was to make it a tv series, but that fell through and they did a movie. So I'd bet that was gonna happen later on.

        >made me think of the medical condition Preader Willie Syndrome(sp).

        Funny you should mention that:

You kinda gotta go lookin' a bit for the comic, remember to read left to right, and the translation's a little clunky.... but they make zombies scary, in a weird kinda way.

Zombieland was ok. Shaun of the Dead was far superior, as far as zombie/comedy goes. Even Return of the Living Dead is a better zombie/comedy.

Machete is awesome. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Savini's character....

I like Zombieland, it has elements that are really enjoyable, like the super-slow-mo opening credits, Bill Murray, and other stuff. It's pretty lightweight though, and Shaun of the Dead is still the breakthrough zom-com of recent times. It took me a while to figure out if of Jesse Eiseberg and Michael Cera were actually different people.
Machete is good fun! I saw it in cinema with a very vocal audience and had a blast.

If you get to know him after a while ,
the label " FLAKE" comes to mind.
He's too far gone to be a ****** bag. If he wasnt wealthy he'd be institutionalized.
