Eric Powell is one of my favourite Monster cartoonists (not that he's a monster that draws, but he does draw lots of monsters).

Folks should check out his Goon Comic Book, which is kind of like Hellboy by way of Looney Toons.

Powell's Goon comic is great but when I gave up comics...I stopped reading everything.
I did like when he was involved with the Marvel Monsters project awhile back.
